Asst. theater manager Dan Burns invited MN SFS, to setup and staff a
display for the local premiere of the motion picture
Deep Impact
It was for Friday night Saturday and Sunday. May 8-10th. with setup on Thursday night 5/7/98.
We got MN SFS volunteers to help setup and staff.
The theater staff built a HUGE shuttle orbiter nose that is in the Lobby outside the theater along with a comet landscape complete with a smoke machine.
This was a 'fun' time.
The display will be up till Memorial weekend.
Stop by and see it if you can.
