TELESCOPE OBSERVING ONGOING
Telescopes will be set up on Nicollet Mall to for views of the moon, planets, stars, and
other celestial delights.
SHORTEST BOOK ONGOING
The folks from the Minnesota Center for Book Arts will lead this activity. Create a
solstice book, the shortest book for the shortest day!
STORY TIME 5:00PM
Minneapolis Public Libraries own Susan Carr Brown will read a special selection of
books from the libraries collection with themes pertaining the our most notorious season
- WINTER!
WINTER IN NATURE 5:30PM & 6:30PM
Naturalist Anna Newton, from Tamarack Nature Center will introduce us to nature’s
wonderful world of winter.
HOLIDAY STAR SHOWS 4:00, 4:30PM, 5:00, 5:30PM, 6:00, 6:30PM, & 7:00PM
Our popular holiday starshow, ‘Tis the Season, will charm and delight both young and
old.
FIREWORKS 7:45PM
