The April meeting of the society will be Thursday, April 7th, 7 p.m. at the Science Museum of Minnesota in downtown St. Paul. The meeting will be held in the Science Live Theater, one level down from the main lobby. Tell the attendant at the exhibit entrance that you are attending the MAS meeting.

For the main topic of the evening, MAS member Michael Koppleman will give 'A Brief Introduction to Astrophysics', covering the science and math of astrophysics, but from a very accessible and non-intimidating perspective.

Following the main speaker and club announcements, etc. we will have time to socialize with our fellow amateur astronomers.
