Fellow MAS Members,

This is a reminder about the upcoming general MAS meeting on December 6th, 2007, at 7:00 pm at the Science Museum of Minnesota. In addition to MAS member Mike Kauper discussing his visit to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, England, it is also board elections for the coming year.

All members in good standing will be able to cast a vote for VP, Treasurer, and Board Member At Large. If you are unable to attend the meeting you may request an absentee ballot from me. If you wish to receive an absentee ballot please request one in sufficient time to be returned prior to the meeting.

As a reminder the positions and slate of candidates is as follows:

VP: Steve Emert

Treasurer: Bob Benson (incumbent)

Board Member At Large: Father Brown, Merle Hiltner, and Bob Young
