2008 MAS board election results:

Incumbent Ben Huset won in a landslide for MAS President, with one write-in vote for Becky Huset. Drew Smith was unanimously elected as Secretary. The Board member at Large seat, between Walt Filson and Dave Minerath, ended in a tie. After some deliberation of the board members in attendance, it was agreed upon to decide the winner by a coin toss. Walt Filson won the toss and will serve as the new Board Member at Large.

I'd like to thank all candidates for running. I look forward to serving with the newly elected members and hope to see all of you out there under the stars.
