Thanksgiving "Break and Take"

Take a break from the turkey fixings and head over to the History Center to see a 500-pound Primera rocket and meet the builder, Guest in the Gallery Ky Michaelson. A former Hollywood stuntman and space enthusiast, Minnesota's own "Rocket Man" has been working since 1995 to blast an amateur rocket into space, 62 miles above the earth, which he accomplished in May 2004. Hear his amazing stories, watch video footage, and then make your own History HiJinx "Retro Rocket Hat" using supplies that are out-of-this-world. Then visit the "Going Places" exhibit to see Michaelson's Primera rocket on display.
